Bryns Bunny Crafts

About

Hi, I’m Bryn, a 22-year-old wood hobbyist based in Oadby (Leicester). As of current (09-12-22), I am a part-time retail worker and owner of two rabbits. With the spare time I have from work, I have been working on developing Bryns Bunny Crafts. With a mental disability, I am surprised by what I can achieve, no matter the struggle. This website will display all documented work of mine

FAQs

What materials do you use?/What materials are safe for bunnies?

Solid timber (pine): Normally the most expensive but natural product for a rabbit to gnaw on. Usually best for toy making.

Plywood: A pricey board material composed of layered wood glued together. It is great for making tunnels and hidey boxes. The glue holding the layers together has not affected my bunny so it is safe to gnaw on. Rabbits tend to know what bit of wood is good or bad for them.

MDF: Similar or a bit cheaper than Plywood except its wood dust compacted together with glue. Rabbits will give it a try, but then tend to not gnaw so much due to its texture. I have recently cut down on using this material for my own health benefit.

What form of payments do you currently take?

I will take cash, PayPal or [Etsy’s payment method].

Full payment disclosure, any Esty purchases will be the full and final price of said object. Any bespoke projects you may enquire about will incur a downpayment of the materials it will cost to make. The remainder of the payment can be processed the mentioned methods above.

Bespoke Work Disclosure 2023

Section A, Design and Materials

  1. Designing bespoke projects is a free service I provide on a very basic level (enough to get the point across).

  2. Depending if the project requires specific details or multiple designs are requested, a small fee of £5 may occur. See my alcove cabinet design phase (point 1).

  3. The project type will influence the main material choice. E.g, Toy shaped = Solid Wood, Hiding boxes = Sheet material.

(Section 3 is subject to change in future, allowing the mixing of woods)

Section B, Payment

  1. A downpayment is required on all bespoke projects. This is going to be based on the materials it will cost to make. The project will not start unless this is provided. This is also non-refundable.

  2. The rest of the payment can be paired alongside the downpayment or given once the project has been completed/collected.

  3. Forms of payment include PayPal or Cash.

Section C, The process

  1. A design will be produced for you to give your thoughts and opinions. The commission will not start without a plan.

  2. Once “section B1” has been fulfilled and a plan in place, the commission will commence.

  3. Depending on the size and my part-time job, the time and delivery of the product can vary.

Section D, You (the customer)

  1. Are required to pay and sign the agreed terms of sections “A2” (if applicable) and “B1” for the bespoke commission.

  2. The collection of products is free. Your only limitation is the mode of transport carrying the said product.

  3. Delivery of products if requested will incur a postage fee. Will not be possible to fulfil if too bulky or non-flatpackable.

  4. Are entitled to cancel your bespoke commission at any time during the process.
